Ive installed last version of project manager and uploaded my textures and models there. Around 4000 textures + 3000 models.
When i open project manager, my 3DS max interface start lagging. I cant open some windows, Also drop lists doesnt work properly. Interactive render turned off. All my textures and models have pregenerated and assigned previews. Buttons works with delay 1-2s.
I have ryzen 7950x + 128 ram, so its not a problem with my hardware.

      Thank you for the video.

Looking carefully at the recording, I can see that Project Manager panel is not open at the time the lag occurs. Could you have opened it just before starting the recording?

To help us identify the root cause, could you try the following: close Project Manager panel completely, restart 3ds Max, open this scene and Material Editor without opening Project Manager, and check whether the lag is still present.

This will help us confirm whether the issue is directly related to the plugin.

Iworks fine with opened mat editor before i open the PM.
I cant make the record before first srat of PM, because then matlibs are not loading. But i ll send you the video right after i ve started the PM.
After first start 3ds max lags only when the mat editor is opened. You ll see on the wideo.  So as a result, after launching PM i cant work in mat editor, even if i close the PM, because of lags.

Thank you for your patience — I believe I may have identified the cause of the issue.

Could you please try the following: open Project Manager, switch to the Models tab, then restart 3ds Max.
After restarting, open your scene, Material Editor, and Project Manager (keep it on the Models tab ) again, and let us know whether the lag is still present.

If the issue is gone, my suspicion is correct and it will be fixed in the next update.

      Thank you!

First I opened 3ds max with mateditor and PM with models tab only, and it worked pefect, but when i switched to materials, all my matlibs disappeared.
Second, I opened PM with models and then mateditor, my matlibs loaded this time, and it started lagging right after loading random matlib.

Could you tell me please, when the update is expected? I switched to PM from connecter and now my work is stopped. :(
        Thank you for help

I also can give you the access to my PC with teamviewer if it will help us )

Thank you for the detailed testing — this is very helpful and confirms the issue is related to the Materials tab and material libraries loading.

Please try version 3.43.15 which includes a fix for this.
You can download it from your account dashboard at https://3d-kstudio.com/my-account/downloads/

If the auto-updater is enabled, it will also trigger the update automatically within a few days once we confirm there are no critical issues.

Regarding TeamViewer access — thank you for the kind offer, we will keep it in mind if further investigation is needed.

We appreciate your patience and feedback — it helped us locate the problem much faster!

Please generate the support request using menu Project Manager=> Create Support Request.

Please also attach one from your material libraries

I noticed your 3ds Max 2025 is running version 27.3.0.30874, while the latest available update is 27.3.4.31707.
Outdated versions can sometimes affect plugin performance significantly.
Please update to the latest version via the Autodesk desktop app.

Is there any other way to fix this? i need to reinstall the whole 3ds max, scripts and plugins, and no guarantee that it will work. Its easier for me just to switch back to connecter.
I cant use autodesk app or just update it.
All of my plugins and apps works correctly wis this version of 3ds max.

Just to clarify — updating 3ds Max is not a reinstallation. It is simply a patch, similar to a service pack, that installs on top of your existing version without affecting your plugins, scripts, or settings.

We would recommend updating 3ds Max 2025 to version 27.3.4.31707 via the Autodesk desktop app. It is low-risk and will not affect any of your existing plugins, scripts, or settings.

              Kind regards

Great to hear you found a workaround! Thank you for sharing this — a conflict between the docked Material Editor and Project Manager is something we were not aware of, and we will look into it.

              Kind regards
