Hi,

When I drag and drop an object from the MODELS tab onto the 3ds Max viewport, it is automatically added a number to it, e.g. 001, or 002 if this is the second object added.
For better readability, I would have preferred an underscore before the number, for example, “Sofa_001” instead of “Sofa001.”
Can I configure my Project Manager to do this?

3ds Max version: 2026.2

Naming like “Sofa_001” is indeed more readable.
