We have very long loading times when we open the material tab. Max is freezing for ~10 seconds. After the freezing time i open a library with very long loading times. Same when i surch for materials with the namefunktion. We have this on several machines. We added the materials with the “folder-funktion”. Do you know this issue? What do i have to do?
Plugin version: 2.60.28

Materials that contains a missing network paths can render in interactivity a preview very slow.
So for solving you can render images using the Batch Render&Relink tool, disable interactive rendering for materials or fix network paths using the Batch Render&Relink tool.
Also you can try do next:
- Install the latest updates for 3Ds Max
- Uninstall if use the plugin vfb+ ( if exists )
- Completely uninstall the Project Manager ( including setting ). Before this you can backup your settings
- Install it again and test.
Thanks for feedback. Please write if it will help your.

here we go:
i did some tests. now i think the problem is when there are many materials in the scene. I tested some scenes with much materials in scene. One Scene was 700 MB the other was only 5 MB. In both the PM was laggy and freezy (in Material Tab). All maps are ok and the path was valid. Then i deleted all scene materials and – voila: the material Tab in the PM works fast and without any issues.
Do you know about this Problem?
