How do I back up, restore or transfer my Project Manager settings?

Use the Export/Import Settings tool to export your settings before reinstalling 3ds Max or Windows, or to transfer them to another computer.

1. Export the settings on the old installation.
2. Install Project Manager on the new 3ds Max or computer.
3. Close the plugin with File → Exit before restoring.
4. Import the settings. Tick all the settings you want to restore — some of them, such as the database, are ignored by default.

Your library data (catalogs, categories, tags) is stored in the database. To move it, use the database backup/restore in Preferences → Database.
If library paths on the new computer are different, convert paths in the database
