ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009Currently, 3ds Max’s Project Manager archives files in ZIP format by default, and there isn’t an option to directly archive to other formats like 7z or tar.gz from within the software.
If you need to archive in a different format, you would typically need to extract the ZIP file and re-compress it using a tool that supports your desired format, such as 7-Zip or a similar utility.
As for creating an archive folder with the same structure as the ZIP without compressing, Project Manager does not have an option to create an uncompressed archive. The tool is designed to package all the necessary assets and files into a compressed ZIP file for easy sharing and portability.

ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009Looks like you tried to start scripts without restarting 3ds max or have incorrect settings for user privileges to 3ds max folders.
Fix this and reinstall the scripts pack.
Or add to the file “Plugin.UserSettings.ini” path to the GetObjectPivot.dlx (<path to enu directory>\ENU\scripts\Kstudio\AlignPivot\3Ds Max libs\3ds Max 2024\GetObjectPivot.dlx)Oleksandr Kramer
ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009Scripts pack supported up to 3ds max 2025.
Try to reinstall or run 3ds max in administrative mode and install the scripts packOleksandr Kramer

ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009In the teamwork mode, categories sync in seconds for the team. Of course automatically.
I posted an example video above. Please generate the support request on both computers.
You can find this option in the main 3ds max menu “Project Manager” ⇒ Create Support Request.PS. From your previous report, I see that you setup MySQL for the local computer with host:127.0.0.1
To synchronize the database, your MySQL server needs to be set up for network use. This means the server must be configured to allow connections from other computers in your network.Oleksandr Kramer

ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009There is no difference between Project Manager and Connecter tree on the pictures.
Please write about the difference. What directories are not exported? Please mark on the images the missing directories

ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009Hi Stan,
Thank you for reaching out.
This problem is definitely not related to the update check.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
1. Restart Windows: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix many issues.
2. Ensure 3ds Max is updated: Make sure you have installed the latest updates for 3ds Max 2024.
This can resolve any compatibility issues that might be causing the hang.
3. Download and install the latest version of Project ManagerIf you continue to experience problems, please generate the support request.
You can find this option in the main 3ds max menu “Project Manager” ⇒ Create Support Request.
