Materials and Maps
Using Substance and Project Manager you can create Physically Based Rendering (PBR) textures by dragging SBSAR files to 3ds Max.
Currently, Vray, Corona, Arnold, Redshift, Octane and Standard renderers are supported.
You can drag SBSAR files directly onto 3d model in the viewport, to Standart or Slate Material Editor.
This ability was available from releasing 3rd version but now Substance that shipped with 3ds Max also supported.OSL and OSL “HDRI Environment” texturemap also supported. Just drag OSL file to 3ds Max for creating related texturemap. If you drag HDRI then OSL “HDRI Environment” texturemap will be created. However, if you use the VRay renderer then VRay HDRI will be produced.
