Well, i dint mean make the exact same thing.
thats like saying, “why use project manager, when 3ds max already have asset tracker”
The answere is. because project manager is better then anything 3ds max already have. So i was just wondering if you had something better then the build in proxy system already implemented in project manager :)
thats all.
Thanks for the headsup on the slowdown.
Best regards

It does exactly what i want. It just gets a bit messy inn there the larger the library grows hehe :)Looking forward to see what you have in store for version 3.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Mats OttesenParticipantPosts: 2Threads: 5Joined: Aug 2012Where does it save this cache?
Or does it simply store it in RAM until the session is done?
I am also using MySQL for teamwork in Project Manager. Will it be cached for the rest of the Team aswell?thanks for the prompt feedback :)

Mats OttesenParticipantPosts: 2Threads: 5Joined: Aug 2012Hi.
I find the HDRI viewer a bit slow. I think its the thumbnail generating part.
If the HDRI is really large it will take some time for Project Manager to generate the thumbnail and the process gets slower.
It would be nice to have the option to “Create Thumbnail” for the HDRI and EXR images. So you can create a jpg of the HDRI. And innside Project manager the thumbnail will use the jpg instead of generating one on its own.
I think that might help speed thing up. Especially when you have ALOT of large HDRI’s
anyway its just an idea :)
