Download, and install the FULL version. (Archive with demo version ends with words “Demo”)

If you still have a “DEMO” over items, update your license key using the dashboard

Opening directories was speed-up in version 3.17.10

You can choose the Corona Physical material from the  drop-down list

However, I’m not sure if there is a limitation with changing paths in Xref objects in the Project Manager in the Assets tab?

In most cases, these limitations depend on the using renderer.

What exactly way for changing paths are you mean?

Strange, because, Project Manager almost doesn’t load anything when starting 3ds Max.
To removing startup scripts, just delete the file “%localappdata%\Kstudio\data\Callbacks\KstudioCallbacks.mse”
and KstudioSaveStudioFile.mse and ProjectManager_3.ms from the user startup scripts.
Find me tomorrow on skype as alexkstudio, if the problem still persists

I would like able to create previews of models in different renders automatically.

Just uncheck the options “Default Renderer” and “Use custom studio”
