ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009This behavior may indicate a problem with the settings. Most likely, some settings are corrupted.
Try close 3d max, rename the Project Manager folder and install the plugin. (%localappdata%\Autodesk\3dsMax\2025 – 64bit\ENU\scripts\Kstudio\ProjectManager_3)
Try open the plugin. There should be no flickering.
Copy the necessary settings from the old folder one by one, checking each time whether the problem with loading the plugin has returned. This will help find the problematic settings. Before copying the old settings, it is better to reload 3d maxMarch 23, 2025 at 01:07 in reply to: .NET errors and batch render re-link scripts not longer working #44346Oleksandr Kramer

ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009As I understand it, the issue occurs in scripts where you use the Project Manager API?
Please send them to support@3d-kstudio.com.
I will review them and either fix them or provide recommendations on how to make them compatible with the latest plugin versions.

Please note that if textures are not found, you may also get black renders. In some cases, relative paths will also not be accepted as valid.Oleksandr Kramer

ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009Just drag the image to the material/render preview or use the auto-assign preview tool. Note, that these options are available only for material libraries, not for scene materials.

ModeratorPosts: 261Threads: 1186Joined: Aug 2009The updated PBR Material Generator 1.05 now supports suffixes, allowing you to ignore specific parts of file names when grouping textures.
🔹 What does this mean?
You can now specify a regular expression to ignore suffixes, such as _[0-9]*k, ensuring that textures are correctly grouped regardless of their resolution.
“_[0-9]*K” is default value. You can add custom suffixes.Example:
If you set the suffix to _[0-9]*k, the following files will be automatically grouped together:
✅ TilesOnyxOpaloBlack001_COL_1K.jpg
✅ TilesOnyxOpaloBlack001_DISP_1K.jpg
✅ TilesOnyxOpaloBlack001_GLOSS_1K.jpg
✅ TilesOnyxOpaloBlack001_NRM_1K.jpg
—–
✅ TilesOnyxOpaloBlack001_COL_2K.jpg
✅ TilesOnyxOpaloBlack001_DISP_2K.jpg
✅ TilesOnyxOpaloBlack001_GLOSS_2K.jpg
✅ TilesOnyxOpaloBlack001_NRM_2K.jpgThis helps avoid confusion with different texture resolutions and makes material organization more efficient.
The update is available now! 🚀
Thanks for your feedback!
