In PM there is just “Merge as Proxy” or “Merge as xRef”. But I would like to use both options!
Thanks,
Ricardo

The option “Merge as Proxy” not has any sense to xRef.
You can use the option “Merge as Proxy” for merging a 3d model as Vray or Mental Ray Proxy. - June 16, 2013 at 21:46 #9687

I want to xRef my merged models because I can update them inside my host scene and keeping my library updated automatically. Ok, 3ds Max and PM can do it easily.
But.. if want/need the use of proxies? They are a must often. So, is there a way to merge proxies with the use of xRef? I wish PM could do it.

One more thing please.
Every merged models as xRef with Project Manager are automatically set with “Merge Transforms” and “Merge Materials” on, even when those setting are off by default in xRef Object dialog box. Would be nice if PM could maintain the settings settled in the dialog.
With these settings always on, the usage of xRef get so limited!
Thanks,
