I tried to export the settings from one computer into another using the export/import settings and it didn’t work. I also tried to do it by hand copy/pasting using the %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20XX – 64bit\ENU\scripts\TrackScripts\ProjectManager\Settings\ directory and didn’t work either.
The thing is that if I go in the new computer and I check the xml file it seems to be the same and I can see the list of my directories of models and materials as in the original one but nothing appears in the project manager.
Any ideas?
Thanks

3rd version moved to directory Kstudio. So the path should be like next
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20XX – 64bit\ENU\scripts\Kstudio\ProjectManager_3\Settings\

Hi Alexander.
Sorry for the late reply. We still have the same issue. We’ve got one computer dedicated to work inside project manager to setup our libraries. The big problem is that we can’t export that to other computers.
We’ve tried export/import settings and nothing.
We also tried to copy/paste %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20XX – 64bit\ENU\scripts\Kstudio\ProjectManager_3\Settings\
Even to go inside the ModelsHistory.xml documents and try to modify that.
Nothing works.
We’ll really appreciate your help.
Thanks.

The best way for using a common database for teamwork – using MySQL.
Here you can read how to install MySQL.
If you still want to use SQLite you must setup a database on one computer and after copy it to others manually or using the tool “Export/Import settings”.
Note: Before restoring settings you should close the plugin using the menu “File” => “Exit”.

I’ve just started using PM and I mainly work on my own but often use 1-3 PC’s. Currently, I’m testing the software on my local machine. Am I best to set up a server bases database or can my local database be exported into a network configuration later on?
I have a Synology NAS setup…could the database be installed there?

From wiki
MySQL works on many system platforms, including AIX, BSDi, FreeBSD, HP-UX, eComStation, i5/OS, IRIX, Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows, NetBSD, Novell NetWare, OpenBSD, OpenSolaris, OS/2 Warp, QNX, Oracle Solaris, Symbian, SunOS, SCO OpenServer, SCO UnixWare, Sanos and Tru64. A port of MySQL to OpenVMS also exists.
So I think what MySQL can be installed on NAS
