Getting ~30 second wait times and crashes with material libraries as small as 5 materials using the Substance Plugin and Corona 3 (hotfix 2) + Project Manager version 2.95.40. Have also installed Substance Designer for the sbsrender.exe file – still no luck!

Any thoughts on what can be going on?

      Thanks!

    Plugin version: 2.95.40
    3ds Max version: 2019
    Renderer: Corona 3 (hotfix 2)

      Hello.

For first please check if path to sbsrender.exe is valid.

2nd – try to open this material library using the 3ds Max Material/Mat browser.

If 1st and 2nd options is right than generate the bug report and attach this mat library and used SBSAR files.
(menu “Project Manager” ==>> Create support Request)

      Thanks for your feedback.

      Best regards,
      Oleksandr Kramer

      Alexander,

Thanks for the reply. The sbsrender.exe file is correct, but opening in Max Material Browser we are experiencing the same lag issue. Seems to be the size of the Substance Materials :( . Any thoughts on how to speed up the load times?

      Thanks,

      Nathaniel

OK. So this bug don’t relate to Project Manager.

Good day, I have the same question, how can I visualize substance materials (sbar) in project manager … can they make a video? I would really appreciate it, greetings.

      Plugin version: 2.95.40
      3ds Max version: 2020
      Renderer: Corona 4

Project Manager already supports to generate preview for substance.
For stable work i recommend install the Substance Designer. This allows to use the sbsrender.exe for generating preview faster.
