Well its self explanatory really. Drag&drop any object from PM to 3ds max viewport voids the option to delete it after placement.. and to be quite honest eliminates the option to delete anything else really.
Up until the merging “Delete” works just fine.

The only way I found around this is to use “Delete” in the Layer Explorer… otherwise it resolves after I restart 3dsmax.

      Anyway to fix it?

    Plugin version: 3.35.90
    3ds Max version: 2024.2.3
    Renderer: V-Ray 6 Update 2.1

Try to install/reinstall the latest updates for 3Ds Max
If this won’t help generate the support request.
You can find this option in the main 3ds max menu “Project Manager” ==> Create Support Request.
Also, please send a video of the process of merging.

At first, you can try to click right-mouse button after finishing placing or press the escape key.
It looks like you don’t finish placing.

Thank you for your replies and suggestions.

Apparently I was mistaken. The issue I experience has nothing to do with PM as I was able to reproduce it even without running it.
For some reason 3dsmax is acting out on it’s own.

Sorry for rocking your boat unnecessarily :D
