Ok, but the thing i Do not understand: The catalog is a virtual folder. In my oponion all tweaks inside has to be virtual. But they are not. When i move a folder inside the catalog into another folder, the result is also made on hdd. Is this right? I think there has to be a things like a lock. So the danger is banned that nobody in the team destroys the structure on hdd, with “wrong” scrolling and browsing the “virtual catalog” Do you know what i mean.
Nicolas BalagnyParticipantPosts: 5Threads: 9Joined: Jun 2019and that is the problem wit all vray-blend-materials Thumbnails rendered with the PM. What do i do wrong?
Nicolas BalagnyParticipantPosts: 5Threads: 9Joined: Jun 2019omg, the “notify”funtion did not work and i was waiting and waiting for your answer… ;))
The material that is shown in the thumbnail above is not the correct one. it has to be like this image.
The material that has to blend in is completely not shown
Do you now know what i mean?
Nicolas BalagnyParticipantPosts: 5Threads: 9Joined: Jun 2019Hey Alex, did you receive my support request, and my email with the attached sample-file?
Nicolas BalagnyParticipantPosts: 5Threads: 9Joined: Jun 2019nice! this sounds hopefully :)
Nicolas BalagnyParticipantPosts: 5Threads: 9Joined: Jun 2019u got mail
Nicolas BalagnyParticipantPosts: 5Threads: 9Joined: Jun 2019here we go:
i did some tests. now i think the problem is when there are many materials in the scene. I tested some scenes with much materials in scene. One Scene was 700 MB the other was only 5 MB. In both the PM was laggy and freezy (in Material Tab). All maps are ok and the path was valid. Then i deleted all scene materials and – voila: the material Tab in the PM works fast and without any issues.
Do you know about this Problem?
Nicolas BalagnyParticipantPosts: 5Threads: 9Joined: Jun 2019hmmm, in huge scenes there is still the problem. i´ll check the other points you recommmented and give you feedback again
Nicolas BalagnyParticipantPosts: 5Threads: 9Joined: Jun 2019ok, i think the missing network path caused the problem. Much better now. Thank you for your fast support.
