SQLite database doesn’t support such use – it can be used only as a local database. SQLite database will be destroyed periodically in your case.

1) If you use the network location – move it to the default location on the local drive.
2) Try to run 3ds Max with administrative privileges

I got it confused with another request.1) On the ‘Materials’ tab, when I render thumbnails of materials, some are automatically added to the gallery, and others not: an icon with a number appears on the top left corner of some of the thumbnails, and doesn’t appear on the others thumbnails.
Project Manager also can automatically find an image and use it as a preview.
In this case, it doesn’t show the number of files in the gallery.
But if you add the same image manually – it will show it.
But in both cases, you will see a preview image on the Gallery panel2) On the ‘Materials’ tab > Gallery > when I choose ‘View image’ from the gallery menu, the ‘Asset View’ window appears but it’s empty. If I close Project Manager and relaunch it, it works: a window with the name of the thumbnail appears with an enlarged image of the material.
Try to add the “AssetViewer.exe” application to exclusions in your antivirus. This should help.

Auto-updater will be triggered in a few days if there’s no critical issue found.

Versions for rendering don’t have the interface and required only for rendering.
So for using – remove any manually placed directories and use the EXE files to install the plugin.
PS. The latest version (uploaded yesterday) fixes a problem with installing for customers who have several user-profile directories for 3ds max.
