ParticipantPosts: 1Threads: 5Joined: Mar 2025Thank you very much for your proactive improvements. Your team has done a great job. After my initial testing, the material thumbnails work fine after rendering the specified Arnold rendering thumbnails. However, the model thumbnails still don’t work very well. I will conduct more tests later. The testing software is 3ds Max 2025, Arnol
d 5.7.8.0, and the plugin version is 3.37.90.

ParticipantPosts: 1Threads: 5Joined: Mar 2025When rendering Arnold material thumbnails, instead of generating sphere thumbnails, flat, solid-color thumbnails are produced. With ‘use custom studio’ enabled, and only an Arnold area light used while specifying Arnold to render the model thumbnail, only a flat black image is generated (using default lights or V-Ray area lights works normally). These issues do not occur when I specify V-Ray as the renderer. The software I used for testing is 3ds Max 2025 with Arnold 5.7.8.0 and 3ds Max 2023 with Arnold 5.7.7.0. The plugin version is 3.37.86.

ParticipantPosts: 1Threads: 5Joined: Mar 2025Hello, based on my testing, the plugin doesn’t seem very friendly with Arnold. When using thumbnails, specifying the use of the Arnold renderer always fails. Is this the case?
