Hello,
I’m using the latest demo version to try this tool and this behaviour is really undesirable for me and I can’t see anywhere to turn it off.
I saw there was a thread about this 2 years ago, and the suggestion was to use the Default 3ds Max Dialog and that will merge it without grouping. That doesn’t work when you select multiple items at once.
Is there a reason for importing objects as groups when you use drag and drop? Is it possible to add an option to turn it off?
Thank you
Plugin version: 3.14.32

Hello!
You can merge the model without creation a group by using “Default 3ds Max Dialog” or by double-click on the file or you can hold the SHIFT key when dragging the model into the viewport.
If you use the SHIFT key you receive a dialog with the ability to chose an action. Just choose a “Merge File” item.
All these options allow merging one file per time
