Recently it started giving this error when I wanted to add xref as I always do. After pressing OK, it seems to have xref inside max, but the screen turns black and nothing is visible. I have to restart Max.

As I see from the logs you use the custom script for merging xRefs

ExecuteString: fileIn “….\\3dsMaxScript\\Merge Xref PROJECTMANAGERDIREKXREFEKLEME.ms”;

Try to use the standard option

You have already sent this script because of the problem we had before (https://3d-kstudio.com/forum/project-manager-support/crash-problem-with-xref-models/).We also have the same problem with the standart method but it is completely random.

Try to merge several files as xRef manually, using only 3ds Max xRef objects dialog.

I think there is a problem with 3ds Max and you will receive such problem.
