Hi there,

I do have a question. I’m not sure if it has already been asked. My 3dsMax 2021 freezes a long time after I dragged a 3d model into the scene from Project Manager 3.12.75. (it seems like updates don’t have an effect on the behaviour)

This happens most of the time when the scene is a getting bigger.

Has someone the same problem or has someone already figured out how this can be solved?

3ds Max version: 3dsMax 2021.2
Renderer: Vray 5, hotfix 2

Please generate the bug report and attach one from your scenes.
You can find this option in the main 3ds max menu “Project Manager” ==>> Create Support Request.

Also please try to set the next Place options

Place On: HomeGrid

Place Mode: Default

I think I might have found the solution, it is most likely the “Scene Explorer” which causes this performance issues.

I’m going to look into this a bit more. Thank you for your fast reply. Hope that I can figure it out on my own.
