      Hi
      I am wondering if Project Manager is able to generate proxy maps?

      In 3ds max Assets tracking you can go “Bitmap Performance and Memory” And here you will be able to generate proxy maps from the maps you have in the scene.

      The buildt inn system don’t have many options, and since Project manager is so awesome i was wondering if maybe PM had a system on its own to handle with this?

      If not, maybe add it to the wish list :)

      What reason for duplicate 3ds Max capability?
      Simple turn on this option in 3ds Max and use it.
      Be note: this option in some 3ds max versions can make the asset management slow.

      Well, i dint mean make the exact same thing.

      thats like saying, “why use project manager, when 3ds max already have asset tracker”

      The answere is. because project manager is better then anything 3ds max already have. So i was just wondering if you had something better then the build in proxy system already implemented in project manager :)

      You’re right.

      I’m familiar with the shortcomings of standart Asset Tracking, but not have any ideas about shortcomings of the standart tool “Bitmap Performance and Memory”.
      Can you tell what you do not like in the “Bitmap Performance”?
