If we want to export multiple files from a directory at once, the export often fails. If it gets stuck, we have to turn off 3dsmax from the command line. I find which file it got stuck with, then I restore it and continue from where it got stuck. It always succeeds with one, but if I select more than one, it tends to freeze.

This problem is also happening to me when I try to export to Corona, 3ds max, it takes a long time to finish the process, the proxies don’t appear, so I have to do it a second time for it to appear in the project manager options, this has been going on for about 2 months.

I installed version 3.37.15 and it is exporting proxies without problems.

Version 3.37.15 uses the same code for exporting proxy.
So maybe you also change VRay version or use other models/convert proxy options

with the latest versions 3.38.58 the problem occurs when I export larger folders, which contain 400-500 files. In this case, the export always freezes at 10%. I export with 100 but even then it often stops…

There is no file that would specifically stop the process. If it gets stuck the first time, it will get ready for the second time. The problem is that you can’t know when it gets stuck. For example, when an asset is ready in 1-2 minutes and you have to wait 20-30 minutes for the next one, then we know it’s stuck. At that point, we can’t do anything other than close 3dsmax from Windows and restart the process.

There is no connection between the files, if the batch export gets stuck and I restart it, it will also transfer the file where it got stuck without any problems. So I don’t see the point in sending the file, because it would be a distraction. But if it helps, I can send the log file after the export got stuck, if that helps and shows the actual processes.

Try version 3.39.03.
This version uses a slightly more aggressive memory cleaning method.
You can download the latest version from the dashboard.
Auto-updater will be triggered in a few days if there’s no critical issue found.
