Hi all,
Anyone know how to place objects in your scene without the incoming object jumping to a different area altogether, ie. very far away from the current point of view. I basically drag something from PM into my viewport and it jumps somewhere else, most annoying! Never been able to work it out myself, would save a lot of hassle if the object would import directly into the current view? It’s like the moronic import from 3dsmax zoom on extents function.
Any help appreciated.
Jason

This should work.
What version of PM and 3ds Max are you use? Please check if your scenes aren’t too far from the origin point.
Please generate the bug report and attach one from your scenes.
You can find this option in the main 3ds max menu “Project Manager” ==>> Create Support Request.
Thanks for your feedback. - February 19, 2020 at 13:33 #26603luckett_jason@hotmail.comParticipantPosts: 2Threads: 3Joined: Feb 2015
Hi Alex,
Latest PM version for 3dsmax and no problems with origin point being far away.
Thanks,
J

Ok. I’ll wait for the bug-report and your scene.
