      Recently, I’ve started getting this error. I’m on 3dsMax 2022. I’ve uninstalled and re-installed. That fixes it until I try to run it for the first time. What else can I try?

      4.00.40 is what I am using. Is that the latest?

        Please generate the support request and attach your scene.
        You can find this option in the main 3ds  max menu “Project Manager” ==>> Create Support Request.

      This issue is fixed in version 4.00.50
      You can download the latest version from the dashboard.
      Auto-updater will be triggered in a few days if there’s no critical issue found.

      Sounds great! The issue turned out to be long file names / path names. Once I figure that out, it was all good. Looking forward to the latest version.
