ParticipantPosts: 13Threads: 27Joined: Feb 2025I need some help with mysql database.
mysql is successfully installed and working fine. The installation location is my NAS server (PC3). The asset library is also on the NAS server(PC3).
PC 1 is my desktop computer.
PC 2 is my laptop.
The three computers are in a local area network(Pc1,Pc2,Pc3). The database name is: kstudio_projectmanager_3
The connection is successful with both computers. The permissions are ok.Problems:
1. I can’t move either the directory or the tags (category). 1. Am I doing something wrong?
2. I don’t understand. Does the database have to be updated manually? Can’t I set a timer? Or if I’m editing on both the PC and the laptop, is it enough to press F5?
3. The mysql connection switches to sqlight when I close the preferences window. Is this normal?
4. What exactly does the database transfer and what doesn’t?I have attached a video and a picture to help:
PC1 VIDEO: https://youtu.be/h22U7ylShfc
PC2 VIDEO: https://youtu.be/gCGnjs38COw
Thanks in advance for your answer Tom

Recommended MySQL version is 9.1.0, but you try to use 8.042
As I understand, you want to use MySQL instead of a local SQLite, but you choose the option “Import from MySQL”. Maybe you should use option “Import from SQLite”. Of course, at first you should install MySQL 9.1.0
